bnbkit, the innovative startup specializing in linen logistics for short-term rentals, announces the closing of a €1.5 million investment round. The transaction, backed by a group of strategic investors, will enable bnbkit to accelerate growth and strengthen its position in Italy’s short-term rental market.
Thanks to advanced proprietary technology and an optimized logistics management model, bnbkit positions itself as the logistics partner for hosts, property managers, and cleaning companies who battle every day with the challenge of collecting, washing, and delivering sheets and towels to their properties—now spread across major cities and key tourist hubs throughout Italy.
The startup was founded by Matteo Campodonico, a serial entrepreneur (Wyscout among his previous startups) and CEO of the investment holding Seven Development, and Maurizio Losi, an entrepreneur in software for industrial laundries.
“Linen management (collecting dirty and delivering clean) is a real logistics challenge for those managing BnBs and vacation rentals. A lack of loading-access storage, cleaning staff often without a driver’s license, pedestrian zones, flights of stairs, concierge desks with limited hours… there are countless obstacles that create serious inefficiencies. We believe we’ve found a highly innovative solution, built on technology and logistics optimization.
After an initial test in Liguria, we launched in Milan where, in 12 months, we reached 1,000 rooms under management. We started in Rome as well, and throughout 2025 we’ll roll out deliveries in many other locations across Italy. The short-term rental sector is experiencing strong growth, but processes are still loosely structured and being defined. There are certainly new market spaces—such as logistics—that bnbkit has begun to seize.
